Wireless Bio Module

The Wireless Bio Module comes equipped with a high performance and awarded worldwide biometric sensor for fingerprints reading/validation.

Its installation process is simplified by the fact that this module communicates via wireless and, in order to work, it only needs a power source which can also be shared with the power of a latch or door lock, gate, turnstile or other.

These wireless modules can be controlled online by 2 products:

- Wireless IOBoard 3: controls up to 8 modules and is software configurable;

- Wireless IDBox: controls up to 4 modules and is configurable with infrared command.

The modules have a quick link connector for power sources from 9 to 32 V and another one for door opening by internal relay triggering.

In order to provide additional security, the modules can be equipped with a door opening sensor and the possibility of connecting emergency buttons or door open sensor.

In the module you can connect:

  • - Electromagnetic locks;
  • - Latches;
  • - Door open sensor;
  • - Emergency button;
  • - Violation internal sensor;
  • - Continuous current up to 32V;
  • - UPS 9V.

Features:

  • - 2.4 GHz wireless communication - allows the module to communicate with the IOBoard or the IDBox without cables;
  • - 1900 or 9500 fingerprints - number of fingerprints that the module allows you to manage/validate independently;
  • - USB connector - for firmware upgrade;
  • - Proximity sensor - the module comes into operation only when it detects the presence of a finger on the biometric sensor;
  • - Tamper sensor - detects the opening of the module housing and, in this situation, it becomes totally inoperative;
  • - Buzzer - the module indicates performed operations with beeps;
  • - RJ12 connector - for connection and data communication;
  • - Relay - for connection to latches and door locks;
  • - Relay connector + power source - fast performance 4 contact connector;
  • - Power source with wide tolerance - between 9 to 32V;
  • - Door open button - allows you to connect an external button for door opening;
  • - Open door sensor - it signals the module if the door is open or closed;
  • - Signalization LED's - 2 LEDs, one red and one green, indicate the status of the operations or module.
